This home leads one up the steep hillside through a series of uniquely designed stairs. It is this vertical circulation that the four-bedroom home is arranged around. The client’s two highest considerations were views and privacy. Upon entering the home one becomes unaware that it is located within a dense subdivision and instead becomes aware of views towards Mt. Werner. The interior use of heavy timber beams and columns, alder trim, wainscoting, doors and windows, distressed oak flooring, and a large stone fireplace make this home a perfect mountain retreat.
