Originally built in 1978, this home was remodeled to accommodate a contemporary open floor plan including a garage studio apartment while remaining contextually sensitive. The original "Folk Victorian" architecture of the existing structure was maintained utilizing scale, dormers, gables, and a covered entry. The addition and remodel was designed to use the existing foundation. An outdoor patio space off the main level living area was created over a lower level garage access.
