This existing functionally deficient home was purchased for its panoramic views. The redesign solved this functionality problem while capturing the mountain aesthetic. The existing deck was removed and all living spaces were expanded out to the Southeast. This move provided the necessary space, along with the relocation of the interior stair, partition walls, room access doors, and laundry, to create a functional floor plan. Large windows capture the panoramic views, while protect from the sun by a dramatic gable roof projection. A new overbuilt roof and entry were constructed on the north side allowing winter access to the front door.
