The 5 building, 58 Unit Condominium Association was in need of updating the buildings’ exterior siding in order to update the project’s aesthetic as well as to maintain and repair the aging building envelope. Cost comparisons were studied to find a design scheme that was sufficient for the project and also remained affordable for the Home Owners Association. Design steps were taken to replace the existing siding system with one that would alleviate past maintenance issues, including proper underlayments and grading that dispersed water around the building siding and foundation. The siding and trim, windows, lighting, and signage were replaced.
