Silverthorne Plan

The goal of this plan was to design a 25 lot single family & duplex residential subdivision with one commercial lot for all planning approvals and construction. This was accomplished by incorporating new urbanism concepts and architectural design guidelines in the subdivision layout. The plan consists of a one way oval road surrounding an open space, creating a landscaped parkway. This solution creates spatial definition that will be further defined by deciduous trees and finally the completed homes. The goal is to provide a sense of place to an otherwise unappealing tract of land, thereby promoting sales.
