The new Community Charter School for North Routt was designed to fit the Region’s rural-mountain surroundings. The building’s shape, as well as material selection, was chosen not only to fit this vernacular, but also to maximize the building’s sustainability. Great care was taken to allow daylighting into all areas of the building, incorporating this concept into the planned future expansions around the building. The building is designed to meet LEED Gold certification.
